Larsen & Toubro chairman A M Naik today met chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and apprised him of the company's keenness to establish a ship-building unit and a shipyard at Kakinada.
 
Details of the hour-long meeting between Naik and the chief minister along with officials was, however, kept under wraps.
 
While responding to a question at a press conference held to give details about the ensuing mass contact(Praja Patham) programme, the chief minister acknowledged that L&T chief came with certain proposals.
 
"We asked him to come with detailed proposals on certain infrastructure projects that the L& T intends to construct," the chief minister said.
