"Our first quarter's premium income from Assam is about Rs 1,200 crore. For the entire 2013-14 financial year, it will be four times of this," LIC Senior Divisional Manager A Bhuyan told reporters here.
In 2012-13 fiscal, the country's largest insurer received an income of Rs 4,500 crore from the north eastern state, he added.
