Seeking to consolidate its position in the sub-2 tonne commercial vehicle category, Maxximo Plus is an upgrade of M&M’s successful Maxximo brand launched in 2010.
With a payload of 0.85 tonne, the vehicle allows the customer easy switch between higher power and higher mileage depending upon the need. It carries price tag of Rs. 3.47 lakh for BSIII variant (ex-showroom Lucknow).
The mini-truck segment of 0.75-0.80 tonne payload clocks the highest annual sales at about 2,08,000 lakh units, followed by 1 tonne-1.25 tonne pickup category, which clocks sales of about 1,89,000 units annually pan-India.
