Mahindra Satyam launches retail management system

Mahindra Satyam today launched REIMS (retail enterprise information management system) - its business insight-driven analytics solution for global retailers. The solution helps retailers in improving decision-making processes.

REIMS is a cloud and mobile enabled solution spanning several process areas including assortment, merchandising, supply chain management, warehouse management, category performance analysis, customer analytics, multi-channel web, mobile and social media analytics, the company said in a press release today.

Mahesh Vasudevanallur, head (retail and consumer packaged goods  practice), Mahindra Satyam, said, “In the last few years we have seen dramatic changes in the retail landscape. Now, mountains of raw data stored in different pockets throughout the retail businesses with diverse supply chains, volatile customer needs and extensive product lines."

In this context, the solution helps in addressing key business challenges in strategic, tactical and operational areas and helps retailers to swiftly identify the optimal courses of action to achieve their business objectives, the release added.

REIMS solution is armed with proven accelerators and assets for each step of BI (business intelligence) analytical life cycle leading to a faster, risk-free deployment. It assists retailers in mining their data, predicting trends and patterns while fine-tuning dashboards, leading to better customer centric decisions.
