McDowell's net up 56% to Rs 33.26 cr

UB group company, McDowell's has reported a 56 per cent growth in its net profit for the year ending March 31, 2005 at Rs 33.26 crore as against Rs 21.35 crore in FY04.

Net sales were at Rs 1,802.6 crore (Rs 1,651.3 crore). For the quarter ending March 05, profit was at Rs 15.07 crore compared with Rs 5.65 crore in the corresponding period last year. Net sales were Rs 297.2 crore (Rs 281.5 crore).
