The Numaligarh Refinery (NRL) has achieved a turnover or Rs 7,874 crore in year ended March 31, 2010, posting a gross refining margin of $11.19 per barrel.
This was declared during the 17th annual general meeting of the company here today.
The company's profit before tax grew by 13.2 per cent to Rs 361.71 crore, while the Assam government will receive Rs 13.63 crore as dividend for its equity share of 12.35 per cent in the NRL.
During the year 2009-10, the NRL recorded a crude throughput of 2.62 million metric tonnes (MMT), which was highest in the history of its operations.
