Piramal Healthcare Q3 net down 18%

Piramal Healthcare, engaged in manufacturing and sale of own and traded bulk drugs and formulations, reported 17.72 per cent fall in consolidated net profit at Rs 59.87 crore during the third quarter of the current financial year as compared to Rs 72.76 crore in the corresponding last year.

Total income of the company increased from Rs 728.90 crore to Rs 832.60 crore.

On the standalone basis, the company’s net profit for the quarter under consideration slumped by 47.62 per cent at Rs 38.67 crore from Rs 73.82 crore. Total income of the company, however, increased from Rs 489.44 crore to Rs 588.39 crore.
