Reliance Media World figured among the top gainers of the day after joining hands with OnMobile Global for launching radio on mobile platform. Around 11am, shares of Reliance Media World gained 4.44 per cent or Rs 3.10 to trade at Rs 72.85.
According to a company release, BIG Mobile Radio, which is an initiative from BIG 92.7 FM, will give mobile users the option to listen to 17 multi-lingual specially programmed channels. BIG 92.7 FM is run by Reliance Media World's radio division.
Meanwhile, shares of OnMobile Global also surged 3.74 per cent or Rs 13.80 after the announcement. On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the shares were trading at Rs 383 at 11am. Earlier in the day, the stock touched a high of Rs 385.45.
