Its revenues went up 21 per cent in Q4 of FY 2016 at Rs 5,781 crore from Rs 4,788 crore in the corresponding period last year.

For the full year, the retail business posted a jump of 21 per cent in profits and 22.5 per cent in revenues. The business delivered highest ever PBDIT of Rs 891 crore in FY16 against Rs 784 crore in the previous year. The company employed capital of Rs 6,410 crore in FY2016 as compared to Rs 6,201 crore in FY 2015.
Reliance Retail added 624 stores across various store concepts, translating into a store opening rate of 12 stores per week. As on 31 March 2016, Reliance Retail operated 3,245 stores across 532 cities.
