Hyderabad-based Suchinfotech Limited, a Rs 1.5-crore start up company engaged in providing software solutions in domains ranging from SMS technologies to biometrics and radio frequency identification (RFID), is negotiating with a few oil companies in India and West Asia for deployment of automatic vehicle identification (AVI) systems at their refineries using RFID technologies.

"We have successfully installed an AVI at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited's refinery in Mumbai, and we are currently in talks with a few major oil firms for similar installations in India and West Asia. An announcement with regard to the new client acquisitions would be made by the second quarter of the current financial year," MS Raju, managing director of Suchinfotech, told mediapersons here on Sunday.

The company on Sunday launched a first-of-its-kind web portal "" www.resultsonmobile.com "" which would deliver examination results via an SMS to registered users within an hour of announcement by various boards and universities.

This free service, however, would entirely be funded by sponsors and the company would reserve 20 characters of the 160 characters available for SMS, for short taglines of the respective sponsors. The company also launched an alternative service for non-registered users, wherein students need to send an SMS to 9949933333 for instant results.

"We expect this service to bring relief to more than 25 lakh students who appeared for Class X, intermediate (both years), degree, engineering and competitive examinations like Eamcet, Icet and Edcet this season," Raju said.

According to him, the Resultsonmobile service is initially being launched in Andhra Pradesh. "We have already started working with education boards and varsities in the neighbouring states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka for launching the service this year, and we plan to expand into the northern region during the next academic year," he added.
