The cabinet, presided over by the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan last night also decided that while maintaining the status of SEZ at Gwalior, the proposal of lowering the minimum qualification for the tender should be submitted before the committee prior to starting the process of partner selection, an official release issued here stated.
It was also decided to withdraw the status of SEZ at Jabalpur and to re-invite the bids under Information Technology Policy, the release said.
The Madhya Pradesh government has allotted 219.63 acre land to Information Technology Department near airport in village Barwai in Bhopal for establishment of a software technology park.
To facilitate investment Public-Private- Partnership mode, Madhya Pradesh Electronics Development Corporation has been appointed nodal agency for this, the release said.
