Vikram Singh Mehta, Chairman, Shell Companies in India has resigned from his position effective October 31, 2012.
Mehta, who worked with Shell for 24 years, will be succeded by Yasmine Hilton, who has been with Shell Group since 1979.
Hilton holds a PhD in Genetics, and has worked in a number of leadership roles across the Shell Group.
She is currently based in London and will be relocating to India in September 2012, the company said in a press statement.
