Zensar Technologies, the IT services and solutions firm from RPG Groups, reported net profit of Rs 27 crore, down 16.8% from Rs 32.48 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The firm's revenue for the quarter was up 61.75% at Rs 403.9 crore from Rs 249.7 crore in the same quarter last year.
On a sequential basis, the firm's net profit was down 28.6% from Rs 37.82 crore while revenue on a quarter-on-quarter basis was up 5.6%.
During the trading hours today, the firms share price dropped 3% at Rs 150.7 per share on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The stock price did recover during the trading hours and was down 0.9% at Rs 154.5 per share.
