CBI arrests chit fund company head in Tripura

Subhendu Deb Choudhary, Director at Cosmic Negotiator, had allegedly disappeared after collecting funds worth crores

The Central Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday arrested the chief of a Kolkata-based chit-fund company for disappearing after duping investors with huge funds in Tripura.

Sources said Subhendu Deb Choudhary, Director at Cosmic Negotiator has been arrested in

Tripura on Wednesday on charges of cheating and criminal breach of trust. It is alleged that Choudhary collected funds worth crores and had later on disappeared.

The case against Choudhary was referred by the Tripura government.
