Kashmir unrest: Internet services suspended in valley

Ban was imposed to prevent the uploading of pictures and videos from the protests

Internet facilities in the Kashmir Valley were suspended on Monday following the unprecedented protests by students, an official said.

"Internet facilities on all appliances have been shut," the official said, adding that the ban was imposed to prevent the uploading of pictures and videos from the protests.
