The Narendra Modi government on Wednesday did not mince words to express its displeasure over the media reports on the Special Investigation Team's (SIT) report with regard the complaint against the Chief Minister by Zakia Jaffery.
State government spokespersons Jaynarayan Vyas and Saurabh Patel challenged "the people who are spreading lies regarding the final report of SIT."
"Even as the Supreme Court appointed SIT has exonerated the ChiefMinister (Modi), some elements have not ceased from spreading lies to mislead the people of Gujarat and to defame the Modi government," Vyas said."They should show moral courage to accept the truth," he added.
