Six coaches of two Rajdhani trains gutted

Six coaches of Bhubaneswar Rajdhani and Sealdah Rajdhani express trains were gutted in a fire today at the maintenance yard at the New Delhi station. Two coaches of Bhubaneswar Rajdhani and four coaches of Sealdah Rajdhani express trains were affected due to the fire. The exact cause of fire is being investigated by a senior level enquiry committee.

The trains were at the washing line for maintenance and nobody was injured. Following the incident, the departure of Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani express from New Delhi was delayed by four hours and twenty five minutes.
