| The 20 new trains will run non-stop between the state and Delhi, have dedicated staff throughout the run and would feature public address systems, Railway Minister Nitish Kumar announced in his interim Rail Budget. |
| The new service is being introduced with a Kranti Express from Delhi (Nizamuddin) to Bangalore (Yashwantpur) from February 8 this year. The service would initially have a frequency of three trains per week and would be made daily from October 2. |
| "Sampark Kranti Express will have all classes. The trains will stop at important stations within the state and thereafter travel non-stop to Delhi.We will have a public address system in the train," nitish Kumar said. |
| The other trains that would be launched subsequently are the Poorvottar Sampark Kranti Express from New Delhi to Guwahati, Andhra Pradesh Sampark Kranti Express from Delhi (Nizamuddin) to Secunderabad, Bihar Sampark Kranti Express from New Delhi to Samastipur and Chattisgarh Sampark Kranti Express from Delhi (Nizamuddin) to Durg. |
| Among the new trains linking various cities with the Capital include the Gujarat Sampark Kranti Express to Ahmedabad, Jharkhand Sampark Kranti Express to Ranchi, Kerala Sampark Kranti Express to Trivandrum, Maharashtra Sampark Kranti Express to Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh Sampark Kranti Express to Jabalpur. |
| Other new trains include The Orissa Sampark Kranti Express from New Delhi to Bhubaneswar, Rajasthan Sampark Kranti Express to Jodhpur, Tamil Nadu Sampark Kranti Express to Madurai, UP Sampark Kranti Express to Chitrakoot, Uttaranchal Sampark Kranti Express to Kathgodam, West Bengal Sampark Kranti Express to Kolkata, Goa Sampark Kranti Express to Madgaon and Uttar Sampark Kranti Express from Delhi to Udhampur to cater to Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana. |
| Kumar said that apart from the trains announced in Budget 2003-04, 35 additional services including the 'Jan Sadharan Express' have also been introduced. |
