Action Sought Against Cheap Steel Imports

The Cold-Rolled Steel Manufacturers Association has decided to file a petition with the government seeking steps to check dumping of cold-rolled steel products in the domestic market. According to the association, around 15,000 tonnes of cold-rolled steel products are dumped every month in the market primarily by Japanese and Korean companies. The association has also urged the government to undertake an investigation in the case.
