Cairn Energy, Gmb Pipeline Pact To Benefit Gujarat

The Gujarat government has been expecting lot of activities including significant opportunities for local companies following signing of the agreement between Cairn Energy India Pty Ltd (CEIL) and Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) for right of use to lay down a pipeline within the port limits of Magdalla off Suvali village for the purpose of transporting gas.

The discovery of Lakshmi gas field and subsequently gas transportation will represent a significant contribution to the growing energy demand within Gujarat.
