Direct tax collections up 43% till June 21

"The buoyancy in tax collections is significant considering the fact that refunds to the tune of Rs 10,810 crore have been issued till date at a growth rate of 33.7 per cent over previous year," the Central Board of Direct Taxes said in a release today.
