Firing in Bareli: MP govt tries to pacify agitators

The Madhya Pradesh cabinet on Tuesday decided to pay Rs 10 with each bag of wheat procured from farmers. Also arrangements will be made to procure wheat in jumbo bags of 200 tonne capacity each to store minimum 100,000 tonne of wheat. The move in an attempt by the state government to douse agitation following the police firing in Bareli town on Monday.
