President to consult former AG on Govt formation

President Pratibha Patil will meet with former Attorney General Ashok Desai to consult on formation of government.      

The meeting is scheduled for 1700 hrs this evening, by when the Lok Sabha election results are expected to be out and a picture on who is best placed to form the government may be available.
