Under the initiative, Symbiosis will start an 'India Studies curriculum' for American students who move to India for studies and similarly, Houston University will extend 'American studies' programme for Indian students planning to study in that country.
An MoU to this effect was signed during the recent visit of a delegation led by Symbiosis Director Vidya Yeravedkar here.
This is a reciprocal visit by Symbiosis which was visited by the University of Houston delegation led by Jerald Strickland in January 2008.
Recognising its excellent track record, Symbiosis International University has been selected by the University Grants Commission to promote Indian education overseas.
