Three killed, 35 injured in explosion at RIL plant

The fire broke out at around 11 a m and soon triggered an explosion, police sources said. Forty people, a majority of them employed by contractors, were working in the unit. The plant was closed for maintenance work.

While 25 of the injured were taken to the Harkisondas Hospital in central Mumbai for treatment, others were being treated in local hospitals, they said.
