BJP President Amit Shah today came heavily on the Dravidian parties, including ruling AIADMK and its rival DMK, in Tamil Nadu. The BJP leader said that the parties are corrupt.

Addressing an election rally at Pattukottai in Thanjavur district, Shah said "no development is visible, but only corruption is visible in Tamil Nadu".

He also alleged that Central Government Schemes are not reaching the people of Tamil Nadu due to corrupt governance in the state. He gave schemes like UDAY and other projects as examples.

The BJP President slammed AIADMK for Aaavin Milk Scam, and said Tamil Nadu is the only state famous for scam even in milk. The AIADMK Government had looted Rs 20,000 crore in sand scam, alleged Shah. He also referred to the multi crore 2G scam and the Aircel-Maxis deal involving the DMK, to drive home his point on corruption.

Both AIADMK and DMK are the root of all bribes and scams, and people should rout them, the BJP President asserted.

"AIADMK, DMK and Congress are corrupt, and they do not know anything other than corruption," said Shah, adding that Jayalalithaa (Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK Supermo) went to jail in connection with a disproportionate asset case. There is no single corruption case against BJP-led Government."

He added, Prime Minister Narendra Modi fought for the rights of Tamils by ensuring the release fishermen lodged in Sri Lankan jails.

He alleged the money which was given by the Centre were not used for infrastructure development in the flood affected areas.

Voters in Tamil Nadu are waiting for a change, Change can happen only when the corrupt AIADMK and DMK were kept out of power, said Shah.
