SBM Q1 net jumps five-fold

State Bank of Mysore (SBM) on Saturday said its net profit jumped five-fold at Rs 82.19 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, over the same period last year.
The company had a net profit of Rs 14.32 crore in the corresponding quarter ended June 2008, SBM said in a filing to the BSE. Total income rose to Rs 978.79 crore in the latest quarter, against Rs 796.70 crore in the same quarter previous financial year.
