Trump was asked why he didn't get a commitment from Kim for complete, verifiable and irreversible dismantlement, or CVID. He responded by saying that there wasn't time. "I'm here for one day. The process is now going to take place," Trump said.

Further, Trump said that the North Korea sanctions will remain in place. "The sanctions (on North Korea) will come off when we are sure the nukes are no longer a factor," Trump said.
