Milestone Brandcom, an integrated out-of-home and experiential media agency, has appointed Mayank Khattar as national creative director. Prior to this, he was executive creative director at Bates Chi & Sercon. In a career spanning over a decade, Khattar has handled brands such as Castrol, Seagrams, Colgate, Sun Microsystem and Adobe.
Thinking strategically
Myntra has roped in Ananya Tripathi to head strategy and planning from consultancy major McKinsey. As senior vice-president her focus will be on framing the company's strategy, planning and investments (organic and inorganic). Tripathi has over a decade of experience in strategy, operations and technology. A computer engineering by training, Tripathi also holds an MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode.
Sound and music
Music streaming app Saavn has roped in Gaurav Wadhwa, senior marketing consultant at PepsiCo, as VP of entertainment and original content. His mandate includes leading Saavn's expansion into new genres via original programming. Based in Mumbai, he will oversee the development of new content verticals including sports and comedy. Wadhwa has 11 years of industry experience and has been associated with MTV and Pepsi in the past.
Brand building
Mahindra Retail has appointed Parvinder Singh as chief omni-channel officer. He will be responsible for positioning the BabyOye brand as a differentiated and true omni-channel player in the maternity and baby-care business. In the past, Singh has worked with Hindustan Uniever, Coca-Cola, Standard Chartered Bank and the National Bank of Dubai (NBD) in the UAE. He is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad.
Digitally inclined
Dentsu Webchutney has roped in Gaurav Soi to head its new business operations, nationally. Prior to this, Soi was senior VP, Havas Worldwide, Mumbai. With more than 15 years of experience, Soi has worked with agencies such as The Grey Group , Ambience Publicis and Metal Communications.
