Aztec Software levitates on bumper quarterly numbers

Aztec Software jumped above 9 per cent to Rs 159.15 powered by strong second quarter results.

The company's net profit zoomed up 134 per cent to Rs 9 crore from Rs 3.85 crore during the corresponding quarter in the previous year, while recording a revenue growth of 136 per cent to Rs 48.01 crore from Rs 20.31 crore.

The scrip had been on a rally in the past one week, gaining over 16 per cent from Rs 136.85 to the present levels, ahead of the results announcement on expectations of strong growth.
