Select base metals ended mixed in an otherwise lacklustre non-ferrous metal market here today on mild trading activity in the absence of any major trigger.

Copper utensils and zinc moved up on renewed buying in consumer industries.

While, copper armiture and copper sheet cutting further edged lower on reduced industrial offtake.

Copper utensils scrap gained by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 425 and zinc inched up by a rupee per kg to Rs 131.

However, copper armiture and copper sheet cutting softened by a rupee per kg each to Rs 448 and Rs 443 respectively.
