Geojit Financial Services spurts on open offer nod

The shares soared to a high of Rs 61 a share and a low of Rs 55.10 a share in intraday trades. In 2007, BNP Paribas had picked up a 27.18 per cent stake in Geojit Financial Services for Rs 207 crore. However, its open offer was pending approval from the RBI.
