Gram, rajmah chitra decline on sluggish demand

Gram and rajmah chitra prices declined by up to Rs 200 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on sluggish demand at prevailing higher levels against adequate stocks.   

Market analysts said sluggish demand at prevailing higher levels and easy availability of stocks in the market mainly led to fall in gram and rajmah chitra prices.

 In the national capital, gram and its dal best quality weakened to Rs 2,950-3,050 and Rs 3,650-3,750 from previous levels of Rs 3,025-3,050 and Rs 3,675-3,775 per quintal, respectively.  

Rajmah chitra (Pune) fell by Rs 200 and (China) shed Rs 50 to Rs 4,150-4,450 and Rs 4,200-4,400 per quintal, respectively.
