Gur closes quiet in thin trade

The wholesale gur (jaggery) prices closed on a steady note in the national capital today following sporadic demand amid restricted supply.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also finished without any changes on little doings.

Following were today's quotations per quintal:

Chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,900-3,000, Dhayya Rs 3,100-3,200, and Shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200.

Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2,200-2,300, chakku Rs 2,375-2,550 and Khurpa Rs 2,350-2,450.
