Medium sugar edges up on retail demand
Medium sugar prices edged up further at the Vashi Wholesale market here today on increased retail demand.
While, small sugar variety witnessed a mixed pattern of trading due to alternate bouts of buying and selling.
Medium sugar quality (M-30) moved up by Rs 5 per quintal to Rs 2,916/2,991 from overnight closing level of Rs 2,911/ 2,991.
Small sugar quality (S-30) were quoted at Rs 2,881/2,936 per quintal as compared to Rs 2,891/2,931 yesterday.
