The company's net sales rose 26.4 per cent to Rs 1090.91 crore in Q1 March 2008 over Q1 March 2007. The stock witnessed total volumes of 95,955 shares as against the two-week average volumes of 22,264 shares.

The defensive stock was least affected by the recent meltdown as it hit a new 52-week high of Rs 1875. It had hit a 52-week low of Rs 1002.2 on May 9, 2007.
