Sugar millgate prices fell marginally by Rs 10 per quintal in the national capital today following fresh selling by traders amid reduced offtake.
Market analysts said fall in demand from retailers and traders against increased selling by mills, mainly pulled down the sugar millgate prices.
In millgate section, sugar kinnoni traded lower by Rs 10 at Rs 2,900, while Titabi was quoted lower at Rs 2,860 from Rs 2,870 per quintal.
Following were today's quotation in Rs per quintal.
Sugar ready M-30 3,000-3,125 and S-30 2,990-3,100.
Mill delivery M-30 2,775-2,925 and S-30 2,750-2,900.
Sugar mill gate prices (excluding duty): Kinonni 2,900, Asmoli 2,880, Mawana 2,865, Titabi 2,860, Thanabhavan 2,815, Budhana 2810 and Dorala 2,860.
