Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi on Wednesday said communication about the AAP notification issued to police to keep the media away from the rally held at Jantar Mantar was confidential.
"Communication with governmental agencies and police are confidential. So, I will not like to discuss that. Media, if identified, can go to any function," Bassi told ANI.
According to TV reports, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had issued a directive to the Delhi Police to keep the media away from the rally.
The rally will be addressed by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
According to reports, farmers from Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Punjab, Haryana, Odisha and the Bundelkhand and Poorvanchal belt of Uttar Pradesh will also participate in the rally.
