Congress leader Shobha Oza on Saturday alleged that the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has now fallen into its own trap and stands fully exposed.
"Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was a sting party earlier as well... Earlier they use to do stings on others. But now they are falling in their own trap," said Oza.
"The party used to say how they are different from other parties. Now, they have been fully exposed and showed to what level they can fall to get the power," she added while commenting on former Congress legislator Asif Mohammad Khan's allegations that he was lured by AAP to join the party after the previous Delhi Assembly polls.
The Congress leader also claimed that Kejriwal, who used to target other parties on this issue, is now caught in the same mess.
Meanwhile, AAP leader Sanjay Singh today alleged that the former Congress MLA was making fun of the media with his baseless and unwarranted audio tape.
"For the last three days, he [Asif Mohammad Khan] has been making fun of the media. Media is the fourth pillar of the nation. You [the media] have a very significant role. Kindly please stop broadcasting such baseless news," he toldANI.
"Technology is so advanced that he could have blurred or muted that editor's voice and then released the tape," he added.
Asif Mohammad Khan, however, said he would release the audio tape very soon.
"We assure you [the media]. Please be patient. We also have some strategy. Everything has the right time," he said.
The Congress leader had earlier alleged that the AAP leaders met him several times and also talked over the phone to persuade him to join the party.
