Abhishek Bachchan roped in for 'Shootout 3'?

Looks like Abhishek Bachchan, who has starred in comedies like 'Housefull3', 'Happy New Year' and 'Bol Bachchan', is now making a comeback in action genre with Sanjay Gupta's 'Shootout 3'. The latest buzz is that the actor has been roped in by Gupta for his next action film.

In an interview with a leading daily DNA, the 40-year-old actor said, "I have liked the idea of Sanjay's film. It's an intense gangster drama. We are definitely working on that film. But the team is reworking the script at the moment. Sanjay, too, is busy with 'Kaabil' and will direct this film only after that."

An insider from the production revealed that the filmmaker is almost ready with the script and will begin 'Shootout 3' as soon as he wraps up his current shooting for 'Kaabil'.

The film will be the third installment in the popular Shootout franchise. The earlier two films in the gangster franchise were 'Shootout at Lokhandwala' and 'Shootout at Wadala'. Both the films fared well at the Box Office.
