Al Qaeda commander says IS' kidnapping, beheading actions 'Unislamic'

A local commander of Jabhat-al-Nusra, the al-Qaeda affiliate in Syria said during a visit to his Islamic State (IS) allies that their kidnapping and beheading actions were 'Unislamic'.

The commander visited them four days after the IS militant group kidnapped a British aid worker Alan Henning, reported the Independent.

Al Qaeda urged the Islamic State militant group in Iraq and Syria to release the British hostage Alan Henning who they believe is an innocent aid worker, said reports.

Henning was a taxi driver who had decided to move to Syria to help the refugees with medical equipments.

IS militants have warned that their next victim of beheading would be Henning after three Western journalists who were executed recently.

The appeal by Al Qaeda suggests that even the terror group that was behind the 9/11 attacks in the U.S. disagrees with the direction taken by IS fighters.
