Aziz Ansari has revealed that he gained weight to give voice to his character in the animated film 'Epic'.
During the red carpet interview at the premiere of the movie, the actor talked about his character, Mub the slug, Contactmusic reported.
Ansari, who has always got typecast in skinny guy roles, admitted that it was nice to play 'a larger character'.
The star also revealed that he put on weight for the role even though he is not on screen.
He said that the film is a fun animated movie with lots of great characters and a lot of great people doing voices.
