Former England football star David Beckham is reportedly set to hit out at retired Manchester United boss and his former mentor Sir Alex Ferguson's claim that his wife Victoria damaged his sporting career, when he takes online questions to plug his new photobook.
Ferguson had claimed in his new autobiography that the former Spice Girl had made her husband obsessed with being a celebrity and that Beckham's downfall was 'falling in love with Victoria'.
According to the Daily Star, Twitter users took the side of Beckham, with one saying that no one can blame Beckham if he is angry as Victoria is the love of his life and that she has given him four beautiful children.
Ferguson was also branded as sexist on Twitter for his digs at the superstar designer, the report added.
