Addressing the gathering at the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Vijaya Lakshya 2019 in Hyderabad, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that BJYM is the future of the party.

Gadkari, who claimed to have started his political journey through BJYM, said: "BJP is not identified by its name or persons but is identified by the work it does."

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, who was also present at the event, said, "I was made the chief minister when I was a very small leader of the party. The Prime Minister's government is a public government and has done a lot for the welfare of the poor people of the nation, whereas Rahul Gandhi only raises issues only during the time of elections. Chief Minister of Telangana Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao is also no different. He too is giving money worth of one-acre land to the people from whom he has taken 100 acres of land, that too without any verification."

Elaborating upon the plans of development, the union transport minister said, "By December the BJP government will supply electricity to each and every village in India. Our government is changing the villages into smart villages. Modi led government is committed to working in the direction of good governance and the nation's development."

The Union Minister further called Hyderabad a center for information technology, which, he claims, to be the future of India.

The two-day event was inaugurated by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh. At the event, Singh said, "A majority of Opposition parties are scared of the BJP's rising popularity. They are forming a huge alliance (to challenge us). But they do not have any particular agenda. They have just one aim -stopping Modi.
