British Prime Minister David Cameron has ordered MI6 chief to beef up operations to kill or capture Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) executioner Mohammed Emwazi, popularly known as 'Jihadi John', following an apparent threat from the militant.

According to The Mirror, Cameron is reportedly furious that MI6 chiefs have not been able to track down the London born Emwazi.

Cameron's focus on the ISIS terrorist became keener after he stopped releasing videos amid rumours that he had fled to Libya.

Jihadi John reportedly vowed to kill "non believers" after returning to Britain in a new video released over the weekend.

A man was shown in the video as being a notorious fanatic who was later unmasked as Jihadi John.

Jihadi John is believed to have beheaded at least seven hostages in Syria including Brits David Haines and Alan Henning.

He had also apparently beheaded Japanese journalist Kenji Goto.
