Cheryl Fernandez-Versini recently opened up about her 'secret marriage' to French beau Jean-Bernard, taking a stand for it.
In an interview with a magazine, the 31-year old singer admitted that she had stopped reading news about herself after she got divorced from Ashley Cole back in 2010 and didn't know how she was being perceived by people, the Mirror reported.
The 'Crazy Stupid Love' singer added that there was no right or wrong to her quick marriage to Bernard, adding that even people who knew one another for two weeks end up together for 75 years while those who had been together for six months end in a break-up.
The singer also spoke up on the music industry saying that it was "f***ed" and dominated by men, and that women shouldn't have to "sexualise" themselves in order to sell music.
She would consider joining politics if she given a chance, as more women were needed there as well, just like the music industry, added Versini.
