Australia Test and ODI captain Michael Clarke has asked cricket fans to keep their faith in the game in light of the latest match-fixing revelations from overseas.

Clarke said that he would be disappointed if the supporters and the fans of cricket think that the match-fixing is happening a lot more than it is while former New Zealand all rounder Chris Cairns continues to reject allegations that he was a ring leader in the same.

According to News.com.au, Clarke said that he has said that in regards to corruption he does not care who it is, he just wants to see it stamped out.

The skipper is extremely confident that none of his current of former teammates have been involved in corruption and said that for the current Australian team the squad knows very clearly that there is no room for corruption in the team.

Clark said that a big part of their job is to uphold the integrity of cricket and he feels that the Australians would do that well, adding that the integrity of the game is first and foremost.

Meanwhile, Cairn has admitted that he is the 'Player X' mentioned in the leaked documents who led former teammate Lou Vincent into match fixing during the now defunct Indian Cricket League, but has denied any allegations of wrongdoing, the report added.

Leaked documents had claimed that Vincent admitted that Cairn had continued fixing in other domestic short form competitions around the world, the report revealed.

If Vincent's allegations are proven right then Cairn would possibly face a jail sentence for perjury, the report further revealed.
