A special CBI court will frame charges against former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda and eight others in connection with the Vini Steel-related coal block scam on July 31.
According to reports, former coal secretary HC Gupta and former Jharkhand chief secretary AK Basu have also been ordered to be put on trial by the court. The court has further ordered that the accused be charged under various provisions of the IPC and under the relevant sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
