Corinthians manager Adenor Leonardo Bacchi, better known as Tite, has been appointed as the new coach of Brazil after Dunga was sacked following the side's humiliating exit from the Copa America Centenario.

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), however, said that the task of leading the national side in the upcoming Rio Olympics August will fall to current under-20s coach Micale.

Confirming the news, Corinthians president Roberto de Andrade said that Tite no longer works for his side as he accepted the CBF's proposal, Sport24 reported.

The 55-year-old had earlier coached a number of top clubs in Brazil, including Gremio, Atletico Mineiro and Palmeiras, Al Ain and Al Wahda in the United Arab Emirates.

Tite had also led Corinthians to two Brazilian league titles in 2011 and 2015 and to the Copa Sudamericana in 2013.
