It turns out that Madonna's first real heartbreak was when her eldest daughter Lourdes left for college.
The 56-year-old iconic singer proved that she was just a mom after all, and revealed that it was "really hard" and she cried every night for weeks when her 18-year-old girl, who is now a freshman at her alma mater University of Michigan, left home, Us magazine reported.
The "Like a Virgin" songstress said she would go in her room and lay on her bed and cry, but now when she visits her daughter at school, she behaves "very mom" like, showering her with questions like "Are you okay? Are you getting enough sleep? Are you eating right?."
Madonna, who has 3 more kids, Rocco, 14, and David and Mercy, 9, joked that she has dark circles under my eyes because of her brood.
